dumb question AND opinion needed

First the dumb question;

Other then the obvious (3 inches), what is the REAL difference
(in use) between 12 inch speaker and a 15 inch speaker.

Then the opinion, does anyone know anything about "Steelsound"
and "Legion Sound" ( which I think is REALLY the same company )
