ntfs to fat32

wanting to format hard drive with xp pro ntfs to win me fat32. how do i format this ntfs drive and get it to fat32

I don't get it. You have WXP and are going to install WME? In that case just boot from the WME installation CD and do the format from there.

Whats the catch? Blow out the partitions in fdisk, re-partition and your on your way. Are you trying to format or to "convert" the ntfs drive to fat 32?

the reason i'm changing back to me is that xp is my copy and the system i;m changig is a friends who put a burnt copy of xp on and he doesn't want to spend the bucks for an original. he only has xp. anyway, i could not boot from cd or floppy to get to dos to fdisk and format. after a few hours of serching found out how to do it and now have me working fine. thanks for the advice.
