i want to change the alert sounds for message and sms. my manual
tells me >settings>alert styles>detail> event name .
However my menu gives me >settings>ring style> (NOT alert style !)
and there we stop. I change ring tone by >media>sounds> "sound" >
sound menu>apply as ringtone. Which is fine, but no other choice of
application.
I cannot seem to find this >alert styles> anywhere. can anyone help
pls. thanks in advance.

settings>Ring Style>either (loud,soft,vibrate,silent) DETAIL (Its under
style) and from there it shows you all the things you need to know.

so settings, ring style, details.
