Which DVD burner is fastest at ripping to date?

Is it a TEAC DV-W50E? How about fastest DVD-ROM ripper?

I think they are all pretty much the same, And it also depends alot on the DVD and the ripping software.

I reccomend a 16x Liteon drive. Its as fast as any ohter drive out there, plus it does excellent Audio CD DAE and is quite affordable.

ok, quick question... i was looking into getting that sony dvd-rw ... that one that can burn both + and (-).. now im deff gonna get a separate burner, like a lite-on 52x, because that dvd-rw is slow..

ok my question is ... will it also pay to buy a separate DVD player?
