Suggestions for a 2-channel linkable Mic pre with gates

Why do you care about the gate? If you're taking the tracks somewhere else
to be mixed, let THEM worry about the gating. You can do it at mixdown just
as easily as you can in tracking, maybe more easily.

Get a clean preamp that sounds good, and worry about processing later on.
You can buy an outboard NR box like the Rocktron if you absolutely have to
do that yourself in tracking.

I would suggest finding and eliminating the source of the RFI that is
causing your buzzing...I'm going to guess you have a solid-state light
dimmer somewhere in the house, or an Invisible Fence, or a single-tube
flourescent lamp...
