Hi. I'm trying to figure out a way to wireup a standard microphone to
my Samson UHF Series One UTL1 wireless body pack - specifically an AT
shotgun mic. I can't seem to find any information around on how to go
about this. I've tried making a cable up based on what I could find
for a wiring diagram, but I can't quite get it to work. It's
extremely quiet and requires gaining the transmitter/receiver up,
which gets very noisey.

Any info would help.

Email me!

Thanks!

** Which AT shotgun is it ?

It needs to be one that uses a battery.

** Likely if you are trying to get phantom power from the body pack.

Don't know about Sampson but Telex and Sabine units supply either 5 / 3.3
volts.... not enough for a phantom powered microphone.... add a phantom
supply in line and things should work... if your At shotgun is battery
powered this does not apply...
