Problem accesing any thing on my desktop

Hello,
I have a probem accessing anything on my desktop withour going to start, my computer, desk top. Then I am able to access icons on my pc. Can that be fixed

Have you tried right clicking on the icons in the start menu and then pining to desktop or taskbar?

Those are a bit more convenient than always going to the start menu. Note that you may need to unlock your taskbar to use icons from it.

Does the problem still happen after you have restarted your computer?
