Motorola V300 Phone Book Category Removal

How do you remove unwanted categories in the phone book on a Motorola
V300? I made some category changes in my Lotus Notes address book and
every time I sync with the V300, old (removed from Lotus Notes)
categories show up in the phone book on my phone. Now I have a list of
unused, unwanted categories on my phone!!!

The categories no longer exist in Lotus Notes, yet they still show up
in the V300 phone book. I can't seem to find a place where you can
delete/remove them???
