Atheros AR928X Wireless Network Adaptor NOT WORKING

I cannot stay connected to the internet with my Asus. When I troubleshoot, it says the wifi was not on, turns it on, but I lose connection again and then can't get it back. Brand new. No hardware button. Any suggestions?

How long before you lose connection?
Have you made sure your wireless card drivers are up to date?

You can try this.... From Device Manager, find your adapter under network adapters, right click, select properties and look at the Power Management tab. Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power". See if that makes any difference.
