Nero 5 / Win 2000 ??

tried to install Nero 5 OEM which comes with my CD burner... installs fine under win 98 , but if i install in Win 2000 , it gives me only START>PROGRAMS>AHEAD NERO >EMPTY

the app has no content and WILL NOT RUN , the InCD part of the app is fine.

Any suggestions ?

also using nortons and zonealarm antivirus , tried disabling those before installation , still does the same thing.

Good news is that your not alone.
I got a new liteon 48x24x48x with nero 5.5.9.something... and there was no program links at all. I had to make my own shortcut to nero. Also, nero had considerable trouble accepting my burner as a valid output device.

A visit to Nero's website and an upgrade to the latest version fixed both problems.
As the full old version is installed, the new version is also full and unlimited.
