I got 7.1 creative speakers. I want to extend the wires that came with those speakers. I bought speakers wires at Radio Shack put they are bigger then the wires that came with the creative speakers. If I hook the wires together can I damage my speakers?

If you dont add amp to speakers, I can't see how you could damage them. Correct me if i'm wrong but bigger wires cant produce power, but they can carry it from amp better. So as long as your output is in range for speakers you can't damage them.

Bigger wires.
Assuming you mean the copper inside the cable is bigger, then yes, bigger is better.

Saying that, you more than likely wont hear any difference as the power you running through them is so small.
