Hello,
i installed windows 7 now my sound card wont work i was on windows XP

i tryto but windows 7dont even find sound card on the computer the only sound i have is the one from microsoft and there is no recording on it so i cant use my mic..

Reseat the sound card and see if Windows will pick it up. Have you checked the device manager for any unknown devices?

yes there is no unknown devices how do you reset sound card
?

Reseat, not reset. Take the card out and put it back in.

That unknown device is probably your sound card though.... just download and install the driver for it.

the sound card wont come out it is on the mother board it worked when i had windows XP now i have window 7

Your wording gave me the impression that you had a discrete sound card. Download your sound driver from your motherboard manufacturer's website.

i looked on the web but there is so uch there i dont know what to get here is my spec..ASUS motherboard

Have you attempted to install the audio drivers for your sound card? Also, have you ensured that your sound card is indeed compatible with Windows 7?
