Recommended memory for A7V 333

I want to upgrade my 512 mb of PC2100 to PC2700. From what I understand, the A7V 333 is very fussy about which DDR 333 memory stick you use and may not work. Are their any particular brands I consider buying or not buying when looking for memory? I'm using samsung right now 2x256 DDR 266. Am I even gonna notice a difference when I do upgrade or am I just wasting my money?

I'm running an athlon xp 2000+(1667) and its the 266 fsb. I think I should get more than 10%, no?
