DVD-ROM Digital / A7N8X

I've been looking around the online sites for a DVD-ROM, I've not yet been able to determine which have digital outputs for 5.1. Anyone know of some retail or OEM models that have this output? I was hoping to take advantage of the Asus' DD decoder.

Well my old pioneer 106S had digital output... as does my new Liteon LTD-165H 16x.
Though the instructions dont say a thing about the type of digital output *scratches head*
