Hello,
I have a Dlink DIR 825 that works fine in the house and is spotty in my office, which is app. 450' away. I have a Dlink DIR 655 which is unused. Can I use it in the office as a repeater so I have better coverage there? How do I set it up?
If the wireless is spotty in the office then the DIR 655 will be also. You need to put the DIR 655 someplace halfway between the officse and where the other router is now.

I can get it closer to the house to pick up a better signal, but I haven't a clue how to set it up. I read somewhere else that a 655 can not be set to a repeater mode.
