Connect linksys router to netgear range extender

i have a linksys g wireless router.

how do i connect a netgear wi fi range extender to the router?

The netgear should have come with instructions on how to do this.
Plug the netgear into a wall socket in the same room as the Linksys and let it lock the signal. You should then be able to see the netgear in the devices and printers on the computer. Then unplug it and put it in a spot that it will connect to the router and will give the signal to the spot that your trying to reach.
