You can't. A MID file is a file of information about notes and
instruments. Programs that play them read the notes and instrument
information and synthesize the sounds. An MP3 file is an actual
recording of a noise.
You'd have more luck looking on the web for a MIDI version of the
song you want.

My Motorola E550 plays mp3 no problems so i dont convert them
