Wifi in not workingproperly in dell inspiron n5520.

Hello,
i am trying to connect wifi .i have two wifi hotspots. it just connects with one hotspot and if i try to to switch to other one it just shows windows was unable to conncet. and it does not switch back to the previous connecion. even it does no go to communicate with access point. directly shows widows was unable to connect.

WHen you say hotspots I gather you mean access points right?
Were they working before? or did you just set them up?
If you are setting them up now, the setup should be as follows:
Connect both to your router (via cable).
Turn DHCP OFF on both APs, if there is an auto IP setup option select it. If not manually assign an address (outside the DHCP Pool range, so you dont have any conflicts) use the same subnet as the router and use the routers address as Default Gateway address and DNS server adresses.
I would suggest using the same SSID and password on all devices (router and APs) there is no need to use different ssids. Also use the same security settings on all.
When you are done save settings and restart APs, it wouldn't hurt to restart router also.
Thats pretty much all you need to do.
