I read a bunch of reviews on LCDS lately since im considering buying one (q17 or 172x), but i noticed that some screens need to go through some "tweaking" and calabiration till they reach their peak performance. Can anyone please give out more info on what i would need to do in order to get the most out of my LCD once purchased?

PS,
Im also having trouble deciding between the q17 and 172x since im hearing opposite things from the thg review since the screen they got is apparently not with the acctual response times. can anyone help me make this dicision easier on me? according to the THG review the 172x was amazing in displaying colors but was aweful in games and dvd playback, is this completely different with the acctual response times?
