Interesting windows *still no solution*

I'm puzzled. I'm getting this behavior with any open windows, be it Internet Explorer windows or browsing files. Some windows I'll try to change to (Alt+Tab) won't come up in front of another window, unless the offending window gets minimized. I don't know how else to say it, but I hope it's enough.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

i had that problem at first, for some reason it went away

i went to the tomshardware forums and all i got was this lousy signature.

Dangit...thanks anyways. It's so weird and inconsistent. I wish I knew. Makes me think more about dual-booting Windows XP (so I at least can help troubleshoot others with problems).

*Bump*
It came up once again earlier today, then went away. Dude, these little things bug like no other. I still haven't gotten a solution. Makes me wanna go back to Windows 2000 even more...
