will my 350w enermax psu be powerful enough to support 2 cdroms, 3 hard drives, cpu cooler, and 2 case fans?

also, i have an epox mobo with onboard sound and lan that i just purchased but my case doesn't have holes for these plugs. is there anywhere i can buy a new I/O cover with these holes?

last. when i get this new comp up and running ill need another PSU for my old comp. www.amamax.com sells cheap cases in my price range with PowerMagic PSUs. i was thinking of buying a 300wat for my old p2 system, but had anyone heard of this brand?

Well it depends on which videocard you have.

Didn't your Epox board come with his own I/O cover?

the board should of came with it's own cover..

i'd get an enermax 400 watt... just to be safe, and allow for any future upgrades

you're right, i totally overlooked the I/O cover in the box.

any suggestions on a less expensive PSU that's still good quality? I don't think i can justify an $80+ purchase when my current psu should be *ok*

Your current PSU should be OK if you don't have a power hungry videocard... so can you tell which one you have?

oh, missed your question before. I have a geforece2 mx 32mb, but plan to upgrade at some point, so would I be best off getting a 400w?

also, what if I only ran 2 hdds: maxtor 30gb ata100 7200rpm and maxtor 60gb ata133 7200rpm?

I think a good 350W should be sufficient... but when you plan to add more devices and a new videocard then take a 400W to be safe.

would 350 enermax watts still be enough for

2x CD
geforce 2 mx
2x 7200 HD
epox 8k5a2+ w/ xp2100 not oc'd
4.2W CPU Fan
2x 2.2W HD Fans
2x 3W intakes
2x exhausts, 60mm Galaxy, unknown wattage

if HD cooling isn't really usefull, scratch those two fans.
