I am having issues recording incoming WAV audio (recording MIDI is
fine) in Cakewalk Sonar. The sound is coming from a Mackie 1202 mixer,
through an iMic, and into my USB 2 input. If I record using Windows
Sound Recorder, then I have no problems. If I use Sonar, then an
incoming signal is recognized but the audio sounds like its in slow
motion even though its playing back at the regular speed. It sounds
really deep as if a frequency is being cut off or something. I am
pretty new to DAWs and decided to buld my own after I took a digital
music class at PSU. In the class we used Digital Performer on the Mac
OS so i am not all that familiar with Sonar. Maybe a setting is wrong?
Any help would be appreciated!

There are a lot of possible problems, so you're better off asking this
at the cakewalk forums where someone else may have a similar hardware
setup.
