I split 60GB hard disk into 2 partitions (C 10GB)(D 50GB).
On C i have win XP + SP1.Now partition c is lost. can`t delete it, format it, can`t reinstall windows.
But the second partition still works (D).
whats the problem? HELP ME

If you can access the second partion, then probably the disk is fine. If your are ready to loose all your stuff then try reformatting the partitions.

I found that using "format /mbr" works and then i repartion my hard disk using "fdisk". Though since you have Windows XP, try to see if you can find an old WinME or win98SE startup disk, it should have the proper programs in there.

Oh crap, funny sounds? Read the FAQ at the top of this forum. Disk is most likely a gonner. It isn't one of those IBM gxp's is it?
