New router vista laptop wont connect

Hello,
have a new netgear router my other lap top will connect to the internet but my vista lap top will not,,,its wireless....not sure what is going on ,,,feel like i tried everything

Have you entered the network password ? Have you tried connecting by ethernet cable jus as a test to see if it will connect ?

Thank you inzone for writing back. Yes i entered the network password,,no luck. I can connect using the ethernet cable with no problem. Something is stopping it from making the connection. Does Vista have blocks that could be doing this?
