I don't think thaat you can connect a wifi computer to a mobile device unless you use a cable.

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

What do you want to achieve? You can share the phone's web connection with the computer or the other way around.

To do the former, and if it's an Android phone, connect to the computer with a USB cable and when the system ask whether you want to use the phone as a disk, charge it or tether it select to tether.

To share the computer's Net connection, just find the network on the phone, select connect and input the wireless security key.
