I have an AT&T now Cingular V600. Works fine.
How do I find out if this phone is open or locked?

Find a friend with a TMobile (or other non-ATT/Cingular) SIM and try it
in your phone. If the phone asks for a subsidy code it's locked. If you
can make calls on TMo then it's unlocked.
