Hello, iam using oracle 10g in my desktop for jdbc connections. recently i was installed windows7 and keep on trying to execute jdbc programs using oracle 10g but it is displaying an error that
" The oracle(tm) client and networking components were not found. These compnents are supplied by Oracle Corporation and are part of the Oracle Version 7.3(or greater) client software installation.

you will be unable to use this driver until these components have been installed. "
has any body else seen this? and iam getting a doubt that -will windows7 support oracle 10g or not???? do i need to install 11g version.......
can some one please help me..........

Did you re-install Oracle after you put Win7 on your system?
You need to do that for all your programs.

Windows 7 is fully compatible with Oracle 10G.

In your place I'd work the Oracle forums to find out more about that Oracle error message.
