What is a good wireless router?

Hey Guys,
I am a newbie when it comes to wireless router's and their types. My old NETGEAR wireless router was taken away by a family friend and now I'm off to buy a new one. I need help selecting a few,I know there are different types such as Wireless N and G(please correct me if I am wrong)I just wanted to know what each one does and how fast it can go. Also if possible can anyone post any links to wireless routers that are cheaper than about 60 US dollars.

The wireless N is the faster of the wireless bands and if your budget is under $60 then your probably going to get a bare bones wireless router with few features. You may want to look for a good sale or rebate. This would be a good choice.
