I'm thinking of getting a V330 from T-Mobile when it becomes available. Do
I need any special drivers or software to connect my laptop to the phone via
bluetooth to make data calls or to download pictures? If special software
is required, does it come with the phone?

Don't know how TMo will package it but must US carriers strip it down
and include just the phone, battery, manual and charger. You'll need a
USB cable and a copy of Mobile Phone Tools. Someone just posted a link
to copy of that today but tyou can buy the cable and s/w on ebay really
cheap.

Can't I use bluetooth for the internet connection? Why do I need a cable?
Thanks,

Sure, that'll work fine. You'll just need the software. The cable is a
good idea though as you can use it to power the phone. BT drains the
battery pretty fast. With cables so cheap it's good to have one "just in
case."
