LG GCE-8481B burn only at 32x

I bought recently a LG GCE-8481B 48/24/48 x cd burner.THe proble m ios that when i put my CERTIFIED 48x cd(mitsumi cdr)NEro or any other burning program tell me that i can only burn at 32x.Dunnno waht is it but i know a lot of people have the same problem as me.

Are there any official firmware updates available?

Try unchecking the "verify media speed" option. (I think it called something like that)
