I'm hearing that it's possible to download, code and/or install
thirdparty java software on the A630. First off, is this true and can
anybody comment on what this might do to phone and provider warrantees?

If it's possible and there's no big risk in running your own custom
software on the phone. Is there any phone or provider on the market
today that allows cell phones to collect and store location data ? And
I'm not talking about GPS data, but rather triangulation data that can
be collected while the phone does not have an open view of the skies.

Thanks.
