i am setting up a windows server 2008 to be used as a nas on my bell modem network that my pc is also on.
the bell modem is then connected to a dlink 655 router by lan on the bell modem to wan on the dlink.
the dlink is used for wireless connections to the laptops in the house.
my problem is that the laptops cant see my nas but have access to the internet.
should i switch my program for the nas from windows server 2008 to something like free nas or can i change setting in my router and modam?
