Let me throw this out there. I've got onboard sound courtesy a Soyo Dragon Plus (KT266a) MB and I would like to pump digital audio to my receiver.

I can't get 5.1 signals to come out of my SPDIF connector. I do get a signal, but only 2 channels. 5.1 DOES seem to work through the analog ports, although this is not what I want. And yes, I do select Dolby Digital in the DVD's menu.

I've tried numerous DVD's with Window MP and WinDVD.

Is it bust? Or is this something that I have to buy something like an Audigy to support?

Any help appreciated.
