hi

I got this old SB PCI 128 and every time I install the driver for it (even newer driver) my system ram goes from 512 Mb to 511 Mb. anyone ever seen this happen and do you know what could it be and how to fix it?

not going to buy a newer card because it's enough for me, also don't want another SB and nothing else around here right now (will look more because till now I didn't think about replacing it so browsed through soundcard listings fast).

even thinking of turning on the cheap on-board sound that comes with the ABIT TH7-II :D

anyway, if you can think of something let me know. thanks

happy new year
