Hard Drive Warranties

Since first of january of 2003 all of "electrodomestics" sell in Spain (and I belive that in Europe too) must to have 2 years warranty.... will be legal to send hard drives whit only one-year warranty?

It will probably be legal to sell one year warranty hard drives separately, but complete computers might be required to have a 2 year warranty. I know a little about law, but much less about Spain.
