My drive does NOT like letting go of CDs, espically Audio CDs, pressing the eject doe not good at this point, it is necessary to select eject from My Computer... and I also get a message about are you sure you wish to eject the CD from this drive... could this be my DVD software locking horns with the OS ???

is it summer already ??? oh, its just the heat haze coming off my PC...

I've had problems like that on a DVD drive as well, and it turned-out it was defective... mine was an LG Goldstar, but nonetheless you might want to bring it back and have 'em check it out.

Ahhh! It's 2003 and wait, whats this!? My computer didn't blow up! ... Well damn, there goes my new Athlon @ 333FSB and my inssurance claim... heheheh
