Please explain this "SEEMS" a bit more so us dumb folks can get a hint.

I want to get rid of the carrier logo, in my case "Dobsob" off of the top of my screen on an V180

Let me tell you it took me a good couple of days to suss it all out and I
mean I am big into gadgets and modding things. There were a couple of times
that I thought it were too complicated and was going to give it up but I
persevered with it, got the hang of it, made a couple of mistakes but in the
end I am glad I stuck with it. My V180 has a lot more features now and is
customized the way I like it. The only thing I could not seem to add with
changing the SEEMS was to give the V180 a camera ;-)
