Have ASUS P3V133 mobo, PIII, 550 Mhz and 128SDRAM. Want to speed things up so am going to buy some RAM. Although Kingston website has mobo-specific SDRAM, have seen "generic" non-specific memory for sale also (only says..PC133/256...etc. Is it imperative to buy mobo specific memory or will other stuff do?
Thanks

If you have a mobo manual, check it (or get the manual online from your manufacturer). Some mobo's have certain limits, for instance cannot exceed 128 megs per slot. You should be fine with generic ram on this particular mobo.
