Hello,

I am building a PC, and thinking of going with the ATI 8500 AIW for it's DVD Home Theater functionality. However, I also am planning to pick up the Terratec Fire or Space high-performance audio card. I've noticed that the ATI 8500 AIW has audio outputs, and my question is: Will the AUDIO functionality of the ATI graphics card cause interference problems with my TerraTec (or any) audio card?

Thanks,

The audio on that card is only there for two reasons:
1.) to provide you with sound from the built in tuner
2.) to provide a passthrough for external connections on the breakout box

No, there are no problems. In fact, you don't even have to use it. And if you do use it, you can connect it as an output only, not a throughput, if your paranoid.
