I don't know anything about cases so i'm pretty much open to anything except those high-tech expensive tubular cooling systems thingies. i just need a decent case that is also decent in price (use your own judgment) and one that doesn't include a power supply.

Antec 1040 comes with a 400W power supply and I would buy that case right now if I could sell mine. It's a large case with enough space to load most computer nut's toys in it, got a door to cover the drives so your cdrom or cdrw doesn't bug you too much while running, have space for 4 80mm case fans to keep it cool

I think it's a great case with a reasonable price, roomy but not too big, there are other similar cases by Antec, shop around and see which one would be better for you.

BTW this case look a lot like some other company cases, like the fixed up ThermalTake Xaser series, the TurboGamer series (Aluminum) and some others running under different names but look almost or dead on like the Antec cases. Some even come power supply free so you buy whatever you want (I like that option too), or just sell it :)

I'm so looking at this case for a while now, but don't want to spend more money on computer right now. I got 3 hard drives, cdrom and cdrw in mine and it's crowded already, imagine if I buy a dvd too. My current case is a Nikao Noblesse, it's pretty and not too small (like the design, the door and the hidden sliding door on the bottom with a 5.25 bay), but starting to out-grow it.

Writing a book again, sorry

I've got to back-up those Nikao cases too actually... I've got an X-Jazz, and yeah, I'm "out growing" it too (four 5" bays when you've got a burner, a dvd-rom and 2 hard drives mounted there, AND a fan-controller gets tight). But seriously, for a beginner case thats not too expensive, they're nice. Check 'em out at www.nikao.net and if you need a price-quote, don't hesitate to ask me.

Ahhh! It's 2003 and wait, whats this!? My computer didn't blow up! ... Well damn, there goes my new Athlon @ 333FSB and my inssurance claim... heheheh
