Are Three Routers Too Many?

I have a Netgear WNDR3400v2, a Linksys WRT54G, and a Belkin F5D7234-4 v1000. They are connect in that order to my modem. I only have the first on transmitting a wireless signal and use the other two as splitters. Is this going to have a negative impact on my overall performance? Most of the devices are video game consoles and one is a gaming PC. Should I take out the last one or leave them as they are now?

Thanks in advance,

If you mean you have hooked up the lan ports not the wan ports it will have little effect. You have converted your expensive routers into a $20 switch.

Since is is purely switching it will run fast it is the NAT function that slow routers down if anything
