Best home router

I have just upgraded my modem ZYxel P60 series 6 Mb/sec because we had frequent crashing of our wireless network
What wi -fi router would give best performance for a medium sized house with 4 people on computers at a time (one on DSL) and streaming a TV show or movie, or streaming games?

Asus rt n-66 or the new rt ac66u , great range , throughput . Have had netgear 2700 , d link 855 and linksys wrt600 and 4200 , Asus blows them away, in features range and throughput
