What dose it mean to buy win 8 OEM?

i just bought a new computer from PC Case Gear (Australia) and got windows 8 64 bit OEM.
1. what is OEM
2. will it effect me
3.does it come with a product code and everything else a windows 8 would normally come with

OEM mean original equipment manufacturer, you will have a key, which can be embedde din the bios or on a seperate piece of documentation. The key is tied to your motherboard and cannot be used again if you upgrade the motherboard, only if the board fails and is replaced by another model, which will mean a phone call to Microsoft for activation.
