ok, for all of you who say that there are hundreds of posts out there already adressing this issue then don't bother replying, my modem will not stay on long enough currently to "search" anything. So here's the question, i've seen those funky purple and whatever color schemes on xp in stores and on friends computers, is there a way to just make it the traditional grey and blue shceme that win98 uses or do you have to live with those colors that give head aches?

Yup you can go back to windows classic in display properties.
