I've got 512mb of RAM and I set mine at 256mb, which works fine for me... it gives a total that suffices what I do, but it all depends on yourself.. if you notice the system lagging a bit, change it to a higher value (mind you, with 256mb of ram, i would set it at 256mb as well..)

Geez, you ask me the question I can't remeber the answer to : where it is... I just did it the other day too, but sorry, ask FRIK where it is again. What it does is that should you run out of RAM while performing tasks, your system will utilize HardDrive memory instead so you can keep on going without a huge lag while your system processes all the required info...
