I recently purchased the <A HREF="http://www.enermax.com.tw/product-05.htm" target="_new">CS-3051,3051LSeries case</A>. I haven't heard many people talking about this case. I love it.

Features:
--Top fan mounting: I find the air removed by this fan is the warmer than the exhaust fan on the back. So it is removing heat that would normally be trapped up there. The power supply exhaust is still the warmest.
--Side fan: Blows on the mobo near my Radeon 9700 Pro.
--Cool lights: if you're in to that
--front connections: 2 USB, 1 mic, 1 audio out. $5 firewire adapter can easily be added. The mount is already there. I don't know why they don't include it.
--Nice positive action on the power button.
--Cool color.
--With some simple modifying you can stealth your CD/DVD drives

I pulled the PS out and added an Antec True Power 430. The PS isn't Enermax. I don't know why. I guess it keeps the cost down. I will see if I can sell it on EBay or something. If it came with a Enermax 350W ps and the firewire it would have been perfect.

<font color=red>The solution may be obvious, but I can't see it for the smoke coming off my processor.</font color=red>

Sounds alot like my superflower/atlas case.
Top fans are really a good idea IMHO.
They vent warm air that naturally rises, take warm air from around the optical drives that typically are up at the top, and also draw hot air out of the PSU.

Bit shoddy that there wasnt an enermax PSU in the enermax case... you could take them to course for missleading advertising!

My case has 6 80mm fanholes, 2 front, 1 side, 1 top and 2 rear. With all that ventillation room i can run it with just three fans, 2 rear and the top and still get excellent cooling.

Companies cutting corners in order to get more profit.

Rather than sell a enermax case with an enermax PSU for X dollars, they sell a enermax case with a cheapass PSU in it also for X, and hope that people dont notice or dont complain that
"enermax case with ATX psu" doesnt mean Enermax PSU.

So are you all saying that the Powerup PSU is no good as it
got a good rating in the <A HREF="http://forumz.tomshardware.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=faq&notfound=1&code=1" target="_new">"Power Psu & Ups FAQ"</A>.
I too was about to get a Enermax case with a Powerup PSU.

Possibly... depends how honest the retailer is.
There are so many brands out there one doesnt know if one is getting a decent or crap PSU.

If i were you i would stick with Antec or Enermax. Pay a little more sure, but you KNOW you will be getting quality.

Actually Enermax doesn't make their own cases. They buy inexpensive cases that meet their criteria, and add their own power supply. Which makes me wonder if you got the Real Deal, or simply the same style case from the original manufacturer! Tom's revealed a case scam whereby several companies were counterfeiting cases, BTW.
