I have been building pc's for about 3 years. But, I was wondering about ECC and Unbuffered ram types. I know what it does, I an looking at corsair CMX256A-C2 Pc 2700 with 2.0 CAS. It doesn't say unbuffered and non-ECC in the description, nor does it say it has it. How do I tell? If it doesn't specifically say Non-ECC and Unbuffered, is it unbuffered and non-ECC?

If it doesn't specifically say that it's ECC, then it's non-ECC.

If it doesnt say anything its unbuffered, unregistered and non ECC.

registered and ECC will specifically be called by their names.
