Can't connect to Bluetooth

I have just bought a silver V3 and am very pleased with it.

However, as it did not come with a motorola headset I have been trying
to connect to my existing siemens HHB600. I managed to connect this to
my previous mobile phone with no bother but or some reason my phone wil
not find this device. Have tried making myself discoverable, charged on
and off, turned the headset on an off whilst seeking etc but to no
avail.

I have connected to a friends Motorola headset so the function can
work.

Siemens have no details of ths headset on line so I guess it is an
obsolete model.

Any help would be great
