Linksys Bluetooth USB USBBT100 problems (fixed)

I was having problems with this device connecting with my Motorola
v551. I looked at various explanations on how to fix the problem, but
found a rather simple one with XP (SP1 or 2).

Go into your Control Panel, and go to System, Hardware, and Device
Manager. There are two entried for Bluetooth devices at the top of the
tree. One is Microsoft and the other varied depending on the machine I
tried. Take the non Microsoft one and update the drivers. Don't tell
it to automatically check, and don't tell it to check a specific
location. Tell it you want to manually choose a specific driver. It
will present several options, one of which will be a Linksys driver.
Choose this and software will automatically be installed.

Before, I could get my machine to detect my phone, but Windows would
claim that there was no Bluetooth device attached. My Motorola mobile
phone tools software wouldn't detect the phone at all. After this
change, Windows could see the bluetooth device, and I could transfer
files to and from my phone. Also, the Motorola mobile phone tools
software detected my phone and started to work.

The one drawback is my laptop keeps wanting to use my phone as a modem.
I'm still working on that.
