How do you blank all contents on your hard drive

HI,
I do not know how to blank my 40 gig IBM hard drive;
and make a fresh install of windows 2000?;

and after making a fresh install of windows 2000 do i then
load my motherboard drivers? or do i load my motherboard drivers beforehand?

Can anybody help me ?

Just boot your pc with Windows 2000 installation cd. Then select new install. Next select the deletion of all existing partitions on your HDD and then re-create the partition. Windows will then format the drive for you which means your HDD will be blanked. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Afterwards, you need to load drivers for motherboard, display card, and any additional devices, etc.
